Ethanol Stocks Should Get a Boost From Tonight's State of the Union Address

I have been tracking the alternative energy stocks in anticipation of the State of the Union address tonight, January 23, 2007. I recently wrote an article on this and thought I follow up on it.

Ethanol stocks stood out yesterday and continue to today:

Solar stocks and other alternative energy stocks didn’t enjoy as good a day as Ethanol stocks. We still have the rest of the day tomorrow to see if the interest will last. I am very curious to see how the stocks react after the State of the Union address.

Disclosure: at the time of this writing I did not own any of the stocks listed in this article. I do own ESLR and STP which are both Solar stocks.
